Last weekend, we kicked off the season during the Fourth Annual Holiday Open House. Lisa and her little elves spent hours decorating the shop in preparation for the event.

One of many trees throughout the shop:

This one was decorated with tiny antique german books.

Meet some members of the Brandywine View Antiques crew (eftl to right): Colleen (freshvintage), Spencer (also known as Lisa's Husband), Lisa (Owner), Linda (Lisa's Sister), Janet (trunk-refinisher extraordinaire), Larry (right-hand man), and Nic (Four Corner Store).

The "General Store" room was the home of Lisa's famous holiday ham and other delicious treats.

Our cubbies are filled to the brim with holiday decorations...

This antique trunk was beautifully refinished by one of our dealers, Janet. She has a number of trunks throughout the shop, each one more stunning than the next.

Ceramic Christmas trees, just like the one your grandmother had:

If you are looking for vintage Christmas decor, wander to the second floor for an array of Shiny Brite ornaments, vintage aprons, kid's games and tree toppers.

We are stocked up with candles! This is the most popular time of the year for these candles, with their wintery scents and warm glow. You'll notice the aroma as soon as you walk in the door.

We have seven scents to choose from: Evergreen & Citrus, Spicy Pumpkin Pudding (Homestead), Nut & Ginger, OJ & Cloves, Lemon Custard, Apple Crisp and Vanilla Bean. They make perfect hostess gifts for all of your holiday events.

Get your holiday shopping finished early so you can enjoy the season with family and friends.

Happy Holidays from Lisa, her mom and sister (both Linda) and the rest of the Brandywine View Antiques family!
